Choosing A Hospice Agency

Elderly with nurse

Finding the hospice program that meets your needs may take some research, but it will be time well spent. Quality of care, availability of needed services, personnel training and expertise, and coverage provided by the payer all need to be considered.

Novel Hospice Care is a model for compassionate, quality care and supportive services for hospice patients and their loved ones.  We strive to enhance the lives of our patients by aggressively managing their pain and symptoms, helping to alleviate any discomfort associated with their terminal illness or disease.  Our care team works to improve quality standards in end-of-life care.  Our team develops a care plan designed specifically for each patient’s need for pain management and symptom control, as well as their emotional and spiritual needs. The care plan is developed in coordination with the patient, their family members, their primary care physician, and Novel Hospice Care expert staff.

Novel Hospice Care will also provide medication, treatment, equipment and supplies that are related to the patient’s hospice diagnosis. Various members of the Novel Hospice Care team will visit with the patient regularly to continuously assess the patient, and will coordinate closely with the patient and family to provide additional care or services as needed.

Our hospice aides can also assist with

  • bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance for your loved one.
  • light house cleaning.
  • laundry as needed.
  • food preparation.
  • companionship to your loved one so you can get a much-needed break.

Novel Hospice Care also provides bereavement services to patients and their loved ones to help manage their grief, and provide both spiritual and emotional support. These support services are available for up to 13 months to provide relief to surviving family members and friends.

Let Novel Hospice Care help you in managing your end-of-life care. We offer all levels of care including routine home care, continuous home care, Inpatient care, and respite care.
